‎

‎

Aye’s Advert

‎
‎”Sir, you were born into the royal Fadugba-Ogunlewe family of Igbogbo, and you have carried that heritage with dignity all your life. You wear royalty the way it should be worn, with humility, grace and a heart for the people.
‎
‎
‎”You served Lagos State for many years. You rose from Administrative Officer in 1979 to Permanent Secretary, and then to Head of Service, the number one civil servant of Africa’s most vibrant public service. You did it quietly and without noise, which is why so many of us look up to you.
‎
‎
‎”You taught us that service is measured by the lives you touch, not by how loudly you announce yourself”.
‎

‎
‎Aroyewun also commended Prince Ogunlewe’s inspiration to younger generations
‎
‎
‎”I have seen your gentleness, and I have also seen your sharp mind. You are wise without being proud, and you carry authority with humility. Above all, you love God and you love people. That love has shaped everything you have done, and it has shaped many of us along the way.
‎
‎
‎”Many of us are better today because of your counsel, your example and your open door. I am one of them, and I am grateful”.
‎
‎

‎
‎He added: “As you add another year, I pray that God grants you long life, sound health, peace of mind and the joy of seeing the fruits of your labour all around you. May your wisdom keep guiding us, and may the light of this royal son keep shining on Igbogbo and beyond.
‎
‎
‎”Happy birthday, sir. Many happy returns”.
